Also known as augmentation mammaplasty, breast augmentation involves using implants to fulfill your desire for fuller breasts or to restore breast volume lost after weight reduction or pregnancy.

Small size breast is enlarged by Silicon Prosthesis. It is of two types - Saline Filled & Gel Filled. Result is aesthetically pleasing & normal feel is retained. Silicon prosthesis size varies from 240 cc to 340 cc commomnly. The prosthesis is inserted through a small incision below the breast in a hidden area and it is placed below the breast gland or chest muscle. It has no effect on pregnancy or breast feeding. Patient is discharged on the same day of the surgery and there is no hospital stay.

Augmentation can also be done without using Silicon Prosthesis, when patient does not want to use silicon or to reduce the cost. This is called Mastopexy. In this case existing breast tissue of the patient is used to enlarge and lift the breast.
